This news isn’t as exciting as I hoped. Tracy Anderson, noted fraudster, trainer and Gwyneth Paltrow’s business partner, is getting a divorce. For some reason, I had it in my head that Tracy married Philippe van den Bossche, who used to be the head of Madonna’s criminally negligent Raising Malawi charity (birds of a fraudulent feather), but Tracy didn’t marry Philippe. They just dated for a while. Tracy ended up marrying a guy named Matt Mogol, who works for the Clinton Foundation, and Tracy and Matt welcomed a daughter last year. And now they’re separating/getting a divorce.
Celeb trainer Tracy Anderson is separating from her husband of nearly two years, Matt Mogol, her rep confirms to Us Weekly exclusively. The couple wed in 2011 and welcomed a baby daughter, Penelope, in May 2012.
Over the last few weeks, sources told Us that Anderson and Mogol had separated.
Steven Beltrani, Anderson’s rep, confirmed the news, telling Us: “It’s with great sadness that Tracy has confirmed the separation between herself and her husband, Matt. The well-being of the daughter that they share, as well as her son, will always remain Tracy’s first priority. We appreciate the respect of Tracy and her family’s privacy during this immensely heartbreaking and painful time.
Thirty-eight old Anderson, whose clients include Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, Nicole Richie, Sienna Miller, Julianne Hough, and many more, also has a 13-year-old son, Sam, with her first husband, former NBA star Eric Anderson.
The fitness guru married Mogol on Sept. 27, 2011, in Big Sur.
God, I completely forgot/didn’t know that Tracy has a teenage son! Lord. Wait, how old is Tracy again? She’s… 38 years old. Oh, I thought she was well into her 40s. Anyway, this should probably get interesting. Tracy has decades worth of sketchy behavior in her past, and former boyfriends and business partners have described how she defrauded them out of money and all sorts of things. I have no idea why Gwyneth thought it would be a great idea to go into business with Tracy, but I suspect that Tracy’s ex is going to have some interesting stuff to say about all of it.
