The clock is ticking and the excitement levels for this year’s Royal Rumble are unmatched. With that being said, Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens at the event. Fans are anxiously waiting for the inevitable drama to unfold during this highly anticipated bout.
As far as the winner goes, Roman Reigns is listed as the obvious favorite to retain the gold, per Betonline. But, this ain’t simple as it sounds like. There’s some grueling shenanigans building over the past few weeks which can finally explode at the Rumble. So being said, everyone’s wondering how long until Sami Zayn gets kicked out off The Bloodline.
On last week’s SmackDown, Owens and Zayn battled in an awe-inspiring contest. Just when The Honorary Uce was about to land the Helluva Kick on The Prizefighter, Bloodline messed it up. They launched a wicked beatdown over Reigns’ upcoming challenger. Instead of expressing some elation, Sami Zayn wasn’t thrilled at all after this. This clearly depicts that he still has a soft corner for Owens inside his heart.
Well, all this stuff isn’t a coincidence after all. This is heading towards a major betrayal from either of the sides. In the coming weeks, it can be The Bloodline becoming fed up of Sami Zayn and hence throwing him out. However, as per the ongoing story, it seems like Zayn might actually blame The Bloodline for intervening in his business last week. The latter sounds much more likely to happen and can cause a major shift in WWE’s current landscape.
Roman Reigns is heading towards self-destruction
As known, Roman Reigns publicly berated Sami Zayn, two weeks ago on SmackDown. The Tribal Chief blamed Syrian wrestler for their loss against Owens and Cena, a week prior. But, owing to last week’s actions on the blue brand, it’s heading towards Reigns expressing his serious doubt over The Honorary Uce’s capabilities.
And now, it’s being reported by Xero News that Roman Reigns will face Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber this year. This pretty much confirms that the inevitable betrayal is coming, real soon. The pressure cooker is about to blast off the lid, and the WWE Universe can count themselves for some of the greatest stuff this industry has seen in years.
