Luke Roessler Sister Milissa Roessler
Luke Roessler sister Milissa Roessler is a performer in her own right. Milissa Roessler learned dancing from Essence of Dance in South Surrey.
The talented acrobat is four years older than her brother Luke and is an accomplished dancer and performer.
Although her brother is a famous star now, Milissa prefers to keep a low profile, as her Instagram suggests. She has a tame 1.1K followers compared to her brother’s 73.9K followers.
However, her passion for dance is highly apparent on her Instagram page, as over half her posts concern her dancing as she seems to have a special love for jumping and contortion.
Unlike her brother, she is based in Vancouver and represented by Performers Management Inc, a talent agency representing actors in film, television, and commercials. It has been active since 1997.
Milissa was introduced to dancing when she was only three years old and fell in love with it. She completed most of her training at the esteemed Canadian dance school, Essence of Dance in South Surrey.
Training at the Essence of Dance taught her to become a versatile dancer trained in ballet, musical theater, acro, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, lyrical, and modern dancing. Her astute training led to her winning many awards and cash prizes at competitions.
Her talent in dancing led her to travel outside of her country, down to California and New York, to further her training.
While just a teenager, she studied at various prestigious studios like Alvin Ailey and Martha Graham Studios, Brickhouse NYC, Disney Performing Arts Center, and Broadway Dance Center.
At 19, Milissa started applying her talents by teaching them to others. She works as an instructor and choreographer at Encore Dance Academy in Vancouver.
Milissa And Luke Sibling Relationship
Luke is very close to his older sibling Milissa. Both Luke and Milissa often post to each other on social media.
In fact, Luke got his start due to his sibling and her dancing skills. According to an interview he did with Ruth Hill in 2017, talent agents first came for Milissa after she had won a bunch of acting and modeling competitions.
However, their mother had been hesitant but eventually agreed. The same agents then turned their attention to young Luke, convinced that perhaps talent ran in the family.
Once again, his mother felt he was too young to partake in such activities, but the agents were adamant, and she relented. Luke was seven years old and booked his first gig for a milk commercial.
Milissa has been his staunch supporter since the beginning, and Luke, in turn, is not shy about taking her to events with him. She is often seen on the red carpet with him, and she and their whole family have hugely supported his ever-growing career.
Her most recent Instagram post, as of the writing of this article, has been of her celebrating her brother and his role in the Netflix series De*d to Me.
