San Jose is a big believer in body positivity. She says in her iamClaireTV interview, "Body positivity is really important. Just be yourself. You don't see how beautiful someone is based on their physical appearance, right? It's how you carry yourself as a person."

In addition to being body-positive, San Jose also has no time for body-shamers. She tells iamClaireTV, "It's my body. I can do whatever I want with it. How I take care of it, and how I treat it." "Listen to how you talk to yourself. Periodically, stop and assess what you're thinking. If your thoughts are mainly negative, this will directly affect how you feel and your motivation," says the Mayo Clinic. "Practice positive self-talk. Treat yourself like you would a friend. Be gentle and encouraging. Look closer at negative thoughts and respond with affirmations about what you're doing right."
