Brandon Barash is an American actor. His roles include the series Gilmore Girls, General Hospital, Major Crimes, Timeless, and Days of Our Lives, and the made-for-tv movie The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story. He has been a member of rock group Port Chuck, along with General Hospital co-stars Bradford Anderson, Steve Burton, and Scott Reeves.
He is the son of Susan and Jerry L. Barash, president and CEO of Sysco Food Services of Ventura. Brandon is married to Isabella Devoto. He has a daughter with his former wife, actress Kirsten Storms; and a son with Isabella.
Brandon’s patrilineal line can be traced to his great-great-great-grandfather, Abraham Barash, who was born in Zhytomyr, Ukraine.
Brandon’s paternal grandfather was Harold Barash (the son of Louis/Lewis Barash and Rebecca/Rebecka “Becky” Hershman). Harold was born in Missouri, to Russian Jewish parents. Louis was the son of Joseph/Judel B. Barash and Ida Levine. Rebecca was the daughter of Louis Hershman and Slavia Baraban.
